Frankfurt Galaxy begin a new chapter with Bart Andrus

Following the 4-8 2024 season the Galaxy have made several major changes to their team as they look to turn the page on a forgetful season. For the proud franchise It was the first losing season for the Galaxy organization since 2005 when they were part of NFL Europe.

Former HC Thomas Kösling moves to the front office

The major move so far has been Thomas Kösling moving to a front office role and stepping down as Frankfurt’s head coach. Kösling won the ELF’s first ever title back in 2021, he served as Frankfurt’s head coach since 2019 for the Frankfurt Universe before they joined the ELF as the Galaxy in 2021.

Kösling bleeds purple through and through joining the team as a player in 2007 before becoming defensive coordinator in 2014. Frankfurt is thrilled to have him take over as the team’s sports director.
