Former Yale defensive tackle Adam Raine announced to AIA and All22 Pro Day Training camp
British defensive tackle and Yale (Ivy League) alumnus Adam Raine has been named to the Athletes in Action (AIA) and All22 Pro Day Training camp in June this year.
The AIA Pro Day Training camp operates similarly to EXOS, IMG and Michael Johnson Performance center in that it prepares college-level athletes for all the drills that make up a pro day. The difference with AIA is that it focuses on high character and placing those athletes not only in the NFL but also other professional leagues in North America and overseas through college pro days and events.
Raine was raised in Basingstoke, a town in southeast England, before attending Berkshire School, a private boarding school in Massachusetts, USA.
At Berkshire, the 6 ‘4″ Brit played both offensive and defensive line and claimed a host of awards from New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) including Class B Lineman of the Year, All-NEPSAC Class B First Team, Class B Independent All-League First Team and a NEPSAC Championship.
Following a dominant high school campaign, Raine committed to Yale as a defensive tackle, an Ivy League research university in Connecticut, USA. Raine beefed up to 305 pounds once he got to Yale and wreaked havoc as an A-gap defender. Raine ended his four-year collegiate career (an extra year of eligibility was granted due to the Covid-19 pandemic) with 71 tackles, 9.5 TFL, five sacks, three passes defended and was named off-season captain in his senior year.
Last year’s attendees included British offensive linemen Toby Lettman and Keanu Ebanks and Serbian defensive lineman Dušan Novaković. Following the AIA Pro Day Ebanks was signed by the Canadian Football League’s Calgary Stampeders for the 2022 season and recently re-signed for 2023.
