Super Bowl winner headlines Jordanian American Football League football camp
Super Bowl winning cornerback Kelvin Hayden (Indianapolis Colts, Super Bowl XLI) headlines an impressive list of players at the the Hundred Yard Academy and the Jordanian American Football League charity football camp which runs from April 12 to April 15 in Amman, Jordan. The camp will benefit the King Hussein Cancer Center in Amman.
Hayden will be joined at the camp by ex Baltimore Raven quarterback Jerry Lovelocke, Eurobowl winning running back Talib Wise (University of Nevada) and former Rutgers and current Braunschweig New Yorker Lion linebacker Sorie Bayoh.
During their stay, the players will be visiting the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth where they will spend a night. The players will also visit the King Hussein Cancer Center and will have the chance to sit down with patients and visit the playing area for kids.
The schedule for the two-day camp will be compact and the participants will include a range of ages from under 16 to men’s league players and will see a variety of nationalities including Americans, Canadians, Sudanese, Jordanians, Lebanese, Syrians, Saudis, Palestinians and Swedish players.
A black tie event will be held April 15 where each player will present a signed jersey that will be auctioned off with the proceeds to be donated to the King Hussein Cancer Center in Amman, Jordan. An awards ceremony will follow where trophies will be presented to the MVPs of the last season in Jordan and to the champions of the Buffalo Wings & Rings Winter Season Bowl.
American Football International is proud to be one of the sponsors of the event along with the Amman Marriott Hotel, Bliss FM, Buffalo Wings & Rings and ACS Amman.
