The American Football Association of Austria (AFBO) announced last week that they have teamed up with US football software giants, Hudl.
The deal will see the Austrian National Team and the top five leagues of American Football in Austria including the top league, the Austrian Football League, AFL, provided with a video exchange platform and elite level video analysis tools to support and showcase the development of the sport.
Hudl, renowned globally as market leaders in video analysis tools and data insights for sport, provide solutions to over 162,000 sports teams globally including 98% of high school football teams in the US. They also supply the majority of US colleges and a number of leading NFL teams, as well as teams and federations throughout Europe, including Germany and Switzerland.
Christoph Seyrl, Chief Secretary of the American Football Association of Austria said:
“Our teams in the Federation are using Hudl from top to bottom. It is not only for our AFL Teams and National Teams but is also a key component for youth teams and flag football teams. For us it is very important to include referees as well to constantly improve the quality of this great sport.”
Shuan Fatah, Head Coach of the Austrian National Team as well as club side Swarco Raiders added:
“We are excited to kick off the 2018 Season using Hudl for all of our six teams. Hudl is playing a big role in our organization developing players and also for the National Team in recruiting players.”
Stefan Pokorny, Head Coach at the Danube Dragons also commented:
