The defending Finnish champions, the Helsinki Roosters, have beefed up an already potent running attack with the signing of ex San Diego State running back Tyler Wormhoudt for the 2020 season.
The 6’1″, 210 ob 24 year old from Mammoth Lakes, California, spent the 2019 season with the Saarland Hurricanes in Germany’s GFL2. He finished as the third leading rusher in the league in average yards per game averaging 104.3 yards, amassing 939 yards in nine games. After walking on at SDSU, in his final year he helped the Aztecs to a 10-3 overall record and a berth in the Armed Forces Bowl where they lost in a thriller to Army, 42-37.
