ELF: Fehérvár Enthroners sign University of Arizona QB Kevin Doyle Jr
Following the loss of Jerod Evans, the winless Fehérvár Enthroners have signed former University of Arizona quarterback Kevin Doyle Jr. as the European League of Football season continues.
The 6’4 225 pound quarterback is coming off a successful two seasons in the Spanish American Football League leading the Badalona Dracs to an unbeaten regular season record and a berth in the semifinals. Along the way, the Dracs were the highest scoring team in Spain. In 2022, he played for the Zaragoza Hurricanes in Spain where, despite their 2-6 record and last place finish in the East Division, he was named league MVP. Following the 2023 season in Spain, Doyle signed with the Swarco Raiders in the Austrian Football League where in his lone appearance he threw 457 yards and three touchdowns.
Doyle hails from Washington D.C., where he became his school’s all-time leading passer and earned honors such as Gatorade, USA Today and Washington Post Player of the Year awards. Doyle then took his talents to the University of Arizona where he spent three years.

In March, the University of Arizona alum showed up to his alma mater to participate in their NFL pro day.
Despite losing their starting quarterback, the Enthroners’ offense has been finding its’ feet in the ELF, putting up 22.5 points per game with homegrown quarterback Máté Hegedűs under center. Doyle will look to provide some extra spark to the struggling team as they head to Berlin to play the 3-2 Thunder, whose defense has proven to be one of the most imposing in the league.
