There’s been a lot of mixed feelings about this week in terms of competition and lack thereof.
To start, there were zero one score games. But that’s a topic for another piece although with these outlandish score lines, we were provided with a lot of standout performances to go through. This may be a long one, so let’s not waste any more time. Unfortunately, these entries have to be quickfire more so than in-depth due to the many masterpieces we witnessed too.
Entire Vienna Vikings offense
This was an easy selection, but the hard part was the players to mention who made the biggest impact. The Vikings scored a total of 69 points on the expansion Prague Lions and Jordan Bouah was one of many who left a big impact. Nine catches for 145 yards and three touchdowns, most of which were in the first half before they took off starters to rest them up. A dominant performance where he showed his separation ability and deep-threat potential. Running back Karri Pajarinen went off for 139 Yards on 19 Carries and a touchdown, proving to everyone that he is one of the best in the league. His running mate, Florian Wegan, racked up 135 yards on 14 carries and two scores and put the game to bed. Finally, quarterback Chris Helbig orchestrated it all behind the line of scrimmage for 23/28 for 362 Yards and a 4-0 touchdown to interception ratio. This was an offensive dominant performance to show that they’re again very much in the title challenge.
Jadrian Clark – Rhein Fire
Not going to be much of an argument here is there… a new single-game passing touchdown record that probably will never be beaten and enters into the unbreakable category alongside Madre London’s various records from previous seasons. And this was against the Paris Musketeers no less, a predicted title contender before the season. Clark put up 31/47 for 473 yards and of course the eight touchdowns. His line was great, his weapons were firing on all cylinders, and they dismantled a rival to remain unbeaten and very clearly established themselves as the favorite to take the crown this year. Three players had over 100 yards and multiple also had more than one score. Clark spread the ball out well and it was never in doubt that they had control of that game.
Markell Castle – Munich Ravens

Castle was burning the Helvetic Guards all day. They tried to cover him with different DBs or now apparently WRs in Beard and Hike, but to no success. One of the best single games ever by a WR in the European League of Football. Fifth in single-game yards, tied 1st for single-game touchdowns and 2nd all-time for the longest receiving touchdown in league history. Castle went for 242 on nine catches and four scores with a long of 94 yards and an 81.82% catch rate. He also added a single rush for nine yards to further add to his all-purpose contributions. This was a historical performance all around. Chad Jeffries also has to be mentioned for being the one to get Castle these yards. He went 19/28 and 409 and five touchdowns on the day, with seven rushes for 25 yards as well. The Ravens’ offense is absurd right now.
Dawid Brzozowski – Wroclaw Panthers
The most rushing yards in a single game by any non-American player in league history with 223 yards. Check. Top 10 for single-game yards per carry for players with more than 10 carries (11.15). Check. Leading the league in rushing yards now as a whole with 344 yards, more than 50 over second place. Check. Brzozowski has been the surprise star of the league this season with his exploits out of the backfield. Nobody saw the 22-year-old running back going off to this level. He’s nearly at last season’s total yards and it’s only been three weeks! Absolutely the surprise of the season and this week he is just continuing all the momentum. In my opinion, if there are live odds for offensive player of the year, he’s right there with the best of them.
Robin Wilzeck – Berlin Thunder
The Berlin offense has finally unlocked and becomes what we thought it would be. Wide receiver Robin Wilzeck didn’t drop a pass and caught only five balls but managed to turn that into 209 yards and two touchdowns. The 200-Club is extremely exclusive, but we had two players enter into that this week. Wilzeck managed to get it on the fewest catches of anyone in league history. He is also the only player to have done it without dropping a single target. He was remarkable and managed to be a big piece in derailing the Wroclaw Panthers hype train for this week at least. This was another historical game in the league, and of course, his quarterback Donovan Isom deserves a mention for going 15/28 for 364 yards and four scores.
Honorable Mentions
The craziness doesn’t end there however, the honorable mentions list is incredible in its own right. I don’t think I would be alone in saying that this was the best week ever in the history of the ELF for offenses. Terrible for defenses of course but offensive performances for the ages in nearly every game. Any of these games could have been in the running for the top performances on any given week. You might have noticed that it’s all been offensive players, that’s because I do not have access to defensive numbers as of now, the ELF is working on that one. From the games though there are very few notable players who had standouts from this week of offensive dominance.
Tobias Bonatti: Raiders (88 rushing yards, 2 TDs)
Fire WRs: Nate Robitaille – 175 Yards 1 TD/Anthony Mahoungou 106 Yards/Halan Kwofie 104 Yards 1 TD
Jarvis McClam: Raiders Tirol (8 catches, 169 yards, 2 TDs)
Steve McShane: Leipzig Kings (17 rushes, 99 yards 3 TDs, 76 yards on 1 catch)
Kai Hunter: Stuttgart Surge (15 rushes, 120 yards 1 TD. 1 catch 32 receiving yards)
