The Rhein Fire of the European League of Football have added their four and final American import in the former Stony Brook (NCAA DI FCS) standout and CFL and NFL prospect TJ Morrison. Morrison join former San Franciso 49ers head coach Jim Tomsula defense, as he is the newest in a long list of talent flocking to Düsseldorf.
The newest member of the Rhein Fire most recently played for Saskatchewan Roughriders in the CFL spending the pre-season with the team. Prior to that in 2021, Morrison spent time with the Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL.

Morrison willl join ELF-All Star and veteran American import Omari Williams in what could be an excellent defensive back field for the Rhein Fire. Jim Tomsula’s back end now includes former Abilene Christian (NCAA DI FCS) safety Daniel Duah and veterans Till Jansen, Richard Grooten, Benjamin Barnes, and the aforementioned Americans.
Morrison is the latest signing in what has been an exciting off-season for the Rhein Fire as Jim Tomsula and the management have already signed up a laundry list of the top available players in Europe including NFL IPP prospects Lino Schroeter, Flamur Simon, Leiander Weigand, Alejandro Fernandez, as well as All-Star offensive linemen Joachim Christensen, Yasir Raji, and maybe the biggest of all, last year’s top running back in the ELF in Brit Glen Toonga.
