The Raiders Tirol of the European League of Football have signed their first American import in wide receiver Jarvis McClam.
The German Football League standout now joins the Innsbruck-based, Austrian powerhouse in the ELF.
The 6’1″, 190-pound receiver is coming off a phenomenal season in the GFL where he was the league’s leading scorer for the Cologne Crocodiles racking up 21 total touchdowns and eight two-point conversions. Through the air he caught 79 passes for 981 yards and 16 touchdowns while on the ground he rushed for 157 yards and five scores. On special teams, he recorded 534 yards. For the season, he totalled 1,672 all-purpose yards, averaging 139 yards a game.
McClam spent the 2021 season with the Langenfeld Longhorns of GFL2. There, he rushed for 338 yards and four touchdowns while recording 797 reception yards and seven touchdowns. Jarvis also added two punt return touchdowns.

McClam was a four-year starter for the Seton Hill Griffins (NCAA DII) and a three year All PSAC West selection. Jarvis also was named to the Don Hansen All Region Team. He holds the Seton Hill single game rushing record with 291 yards against Slippery Rock in 2017. Jarvis is also second all time in all purpose yards and receptions.
McClam joins a Raiders offense that has some potential as they bring back receiver Marco Schneider and have acquired former CFL offensive lineman Steven Nielsen. Expect the Raiders to announce more signings this year as they look to build on their semi-finals run last season with head coach Kevin Herron at the helm.
