The Raiders Tirol have made yet another change at quarterback with the announcement of the signing of former Miami Hurricanes and Florida Atlantic signal caller N’Kosi Perry.
The 6’4″, 195 pound 25 year old native of Ocala, Florida appeared in 24 games with the Hurricanes between 2018 and 2020, starting in eight compiling a record of 6-2. He threw for a total of 2,484 yards and 24 touchdowns while tossing 10 interceptions. He also rushed for 217 yards with Miami scoring three touchdowns on the ground. He transferred to Florida Atlantic in 2021 where in 24 games over two seasons he threw for 5,483 yards and 45 touchdowns against 12 interceptions. He also recorded 413 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns.
He was invited to the Chicago Bears minicamp in 2023. he signed briefly with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League in June of 2023 but was released. He was signed by the Seattle Sea Dragons of the XFL in October of 2023 but the team folded after the merger between the XFL and USFL.
Perry is the third quarterback for the Raiders this season following the release of both D’Angelo Fulford and Kason Martin.
