The Paris Musketeers have re-signed quarterback Zach Edwards for the 2024 European League of Football season.
Edwards led the Musketeers to a 6-6 record in their inaugural season in the ELF which included winning four straight at the end of the year. He was the fourth leading quarterback in the league throwing for 3,096 yards and 30 touchdowns.

The 25 year old from St. Paul, Minnesota, came to the Musketeers after spending the first two seasons of the ELF with the Barcelona Dragons. Edwards was the engine behind the Dragons offense throwing for 5,839 yards, 57 touchdowns, and 21 interceptions. Edwards also added an exciting rushing element gaining 797 yards on the ground while scoring seven touchdowns. In his first year with Barcelona, after the team stumbled out to an 0-4 record, he and the Dragons played a much better brand of football down the stretch finishing with a 3-7 record and several one-score losses. In his second season, he guided to team to an 8-4 record and a semifinal berth.
Before joining the Barcelona Dragons of the ELF last season, Edwards won a championship in the spring of 2021 leading the Barcelona-based L’Hospitalet Pioners to a 6-0 regular-season record, orchestrating on offense averaging 36 points per game in Spain’s LNFA Serie B.
Edwards came to Spain following a record-setting collegiate career at St. Scholastica College (NCAA: Division III). The Minnesota native threw for a school-record 90 touchdowns and 9,024 yards in 36 games with the Saints, earning three straight all-conference nods in his career. Edwards’ college accomplishments earned him an invite to the 2019 FCS Bowl where he won MVP.
