ELF: Munich Ravens sign ELF All-Star & XFL DB Justin Rogers
The Munich Ravens of the European League of Football have made a splash signing bringing back ELF All-Star and recent XFL defensive back Justin Rogers.
Rogers rejoins the ELF and the Munich Ravens following an injury to Raven’s defensive back Darius Robinson. The 1-1 Ravens now replace one of the league’s best defensive backs and return men with another proven impact safety and returner.
The 5’11” 195-pound defender from Los Angeles, California was a key part of the Sea Devils in both 2022 and 2021 earning two All-Star nods as the Sea Devils reached the title game in consecutive seasons.
Over the course of two seasons, Rogers played in 22 games making 74 tackles, 10 interceptions, 15 pass breakups, and three blocked kicks. On special teams, the 24-year-old was one of the league’s best return men taking back three punt returns for scores along with one kick return touchdown notching 1,506 return yards.

Rogers recently finished up the XFL season this spring where he was part of the Orlando Guardians in the rebirth of the league. The ELF All-Star was selected in the final round of the XFL draft and ended up being a key contributor in the Guardian’s first season, serving as Orlando’s return man, racking up 504 return yards and seven tackles over the course of the 10-game season.
Before coming to Europe, Rogers was a standout performer for the UTEP Miners (NCAA D1) and in 47 games over four years he amassed 182 tackles and six interceptions. In his senior year alone (2019), he recorded 73 tackles which included two 10-tackle games.
