Saturday’s European League of Football action will conclude with an ELF Central matchup between the 2-6 Barcelona Dragons and the 1-7 Milano Seamen as both teams look to get a badly needed win.
The last time the Dragons won a game was against Milano way back on June 10 while the Seamen defeated the Helvetic Guards on June 26 for their most recent victory.
The Dragons will take to the field following a demoralizing loss to the Paris Musketeers, increasing their losing streak to six. The game saw the Carlton Aiken Jr. led offense look out of rhythm and inefficient in crucial areas. Individually, Aiken has by no means been a bad replacement quarterback, however it is clear the team chemistry is not as prominent as it was with Conor Miller. Luckily for the Dragons, Miller will make his return to the field this weekend following his activation from injured reserve.

Milano, who have lost five in a row, are coming off the back of possibly the worst defensive performance the league has seen, allowing a record-breaking 78 points to the Stuttgart Surge, despite going into halftime just one score down. Quarterback Luke Zahradka maintains his gunslinger reputation, leading the league in both yards and interceptions, with Jean Constant and Juan Flores-Calderon proving to be one of the most dynamic receiver duos in the league.

The last matchup between the two teams came in week two and saw the two offenses go toe-to-toe with a final score of 41-33 in favor of the Dragons. With both teams possessing dynamic, explosive offensive cores as well as two of the lowest ranking defenses in the ELF, expect another high-scoring shootout as the Seamen travel to the take on Dragons.
