ELF: Former NFL OL Mike Wahle joins Frankfurt Galaxy staff

The Frankfurt Galaxy have announced the signing of former All Pro NFL offensive lineman Mike Wahle as their new Technical Development Specialist.

His main tasks will include the further development of the players through individual work-out plans during the season and offseason. He will also work closely with the team on group strength sessions and mental training.

The 47 year old Wahle from Rialto, California, played tackle at Navy and reached the NFL at a listed 6-6, 304. He was picked in the 1998 Supplemental Draft by the Green Bay Packers, and developed into one of the best guards in the league. Wahle played 11 years in the league with the Packers, (1998-2004), Carolina Panthers (2005-2007) and Seattle Seahawks (2008). He started 138 games and receiving All Pro and Pro Bowl honors in 2005 for the Panthers.

After retiring in 2009, Wahle spent five years as an assistant with the Miami Dolphins. Then, he started his own business, Process to Perform, where he shared insights from his pro career to help high school players get to college, college players get drafted, and professional players continue to get better.
