The European League of Football has announced its first-ever All-Star team.
Coaches and fans alike voted for their favorite players helping shape the skilled team. ELF‘s all-stars feature only four American players (two on offense and two on defense) in accordance with league rules. This allows ELF’s domestic stars a chance to shine on this new stage, eager to represent themselves among the best in the new league.
This team of ELF‘s best players will hit the field together in an All-Star Game on October 3 in Berlin. Their opponent will be a collection of American talent coached by Rudy Wyland.
OFFENSE
Running back Madre London headlines the group after rushing for over 2,000 yards in 10 games. Former Philadelphia Eagle Anthony Mahoungou and German quarterback Jan Weinreich are two key European players to watch on this offense.
ELF’s sack leader Kyle Kitchens and former NFL IPP defensive end Adedayo Odeleye make the all-star team after fantastic seasons. Behind them, ELF’s leading tackler Wael Nasri and Serbian safety Goran Zec are two players to watch on the second level of the defense.
Linebackers:
Wael Nasri (BERLIN THUNER), Sebastian Gauthier (FANKFURT GALAXY), Miguel Boock (HAMBURG SEADEVILS), Daniel Laporte (HAMBURG SEADEVILS), Sebastian Silva-Gomez (FANKFURT GALAXY), Hubert Ogrodowczyk (WROCLAW PANTHERS)
The league’s marquee franchise, the Seadevils had the most all-stars voted in with ten. Hamburg was followed closely by Frankfurt with nine Galaxy players making the list. The collection of ELF talent will face off against Rudy Wyland’s American squad, which will reportedly feature other ELF players such as Darius Robinson, William Lloyd, Mike Taylor. Along with Austrian Football League stars Darrell Adams, Juwan Hayes, and Connor Miller.
