ELF: 2023 Barcelona Dragons – A Complete Roster Breakdown

The roster features a total of 56 players, 10 of which are from the Practice Squad: 4 North Americans and 5 Europeans. This leaves the door open for the Dragons to add another European import player at any point with the league limit set at 6.

Offensively, new head coach Gabriel Sanchez will rely on new veteran quarterback Conor Miller to be a steady leader behind center. Miller will look to spread the ball around to Spanish receivers Jord Torrededia, Rual Cernuda as well as former Carolina Panther Austin Duke and European talents Theodor Landröm and Melvin Palvin.

In the backfield, Edu Molina and Antoni Monton hope to give the Dragons a solid run game behind key offensive lineman Jose Ariza and Ben Dixon.

Defensively, the Dragons boast a strong secondary featuring returning standout Jordi Brugnani and national team cornerback Lucas Masero. They’ve also added American Luke Glenna (St. Thomas University – NCAA DI FCS) to that room giving them a solid group of defensive backs going into the season.

Former Ohio State and South Florida pass rusher Darius Slade headlines the defensive line along with veteran Sebastian Bowen. The linebacking core returns years of top spanish experience in Alex Posito and Casare Brugnani and Swedish import Hugo Dyrendahl.
