The Egyptian Federation of American Football kicks off its fifth season this Friday, February 1. with four of the eight teams in action.
The defending champion Cairo Hell Hounds, who captured their first ever Egyptian National Football League title in 2018, will launch their 2019 season facing the Cairo Bears on February 1, while earlier in the day, the Gezira Thunder will take on the AUC Titans.
The GUC Eagles, three-time Egyptian Bowl winners start their season a week later, February 8, when they face the Cairo Warriors. The other two teams in the league, the MSA Tigers and Cairo Wolves, open their season against each other also on February 8.
The matchup between the only two teams to win the Egyptian title, the GUC Eagles and Cairo Hell Hounds is scheduled for March 15.
The regular season winds up on April 5 followed by the Egyptian National Football League semifinals and the Egyptian Bowl.
