Germany: Dresden Monarchs sign Texas Southern QB Glen Cuiellette
The Dresden Monarchs have signed quarterback Glen Cuiellette from Texas Southern/Tulane (NCAA Div. 1 FCS) for the rest of the 2019 season.
The 24 year old, 6′, 220 lb native of Mandeville, Louisiana, has been brought in to replace Zack Greenlee who was injured during the Monarchs loss to the Braunschweig New Yorker Lions and will be out for an indefinite period of time. Cuiellette spent the 2018 season with Texas Southern where he started seven games and threw for 1,438 yards and eight touchdowns. He had transferred to Texas Southern from Tulane where he played in all 12 games in 2016 with 10 starts throwing for 1,309 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Dresden head coach Ulz Däuber:
“Fortunately the injury to Zack Greenlee was not as bad as we first thought but he will be out for a few weeks so we had to react. Glen arrives this week and will prepare to play Hildesheim on June 15.”
