A race between two of the fastest people on the planet will apparently take place in the coming months.
After verbally sparring for some time, Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill and Olympic champion Noah Lyles agreed to race each other this spring or summer, the duo told People Magazine in a joint interview.
“This has been an ongoing thing for quite some time now, and I mean, everybody’s seen the back and forth on social media,” Hill said. “I’ve been very adamant to show people what real, true speed looks like.”
Hill and Lyles have been yapping about who is faster for a while at this point. In August, Hill was adamant he could beat the 100-meter gold medalist. After winning a 60M final in the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix earlier this month, Lyles held a sign that read, “Tyreek could never.”
