CEFL Cup returns!
The Central European Football League Cup is returning after a three-year absence due to the pandemic.
The last time the CEFL Cup tournament was played was 2019 when the Moscow Spartans defeated Italy’s Bolzano Giants to win the title.
The tournament was scheduled to be played in 2020 but was halted.
This season, six teams, including five new ones, will battle it out in two separate conferences, Northern and Southern. All six are among the top four in each of their respective leagues.
The tournament will be played in a round robin format:
Northern Conference
– Tychy Falcons, Polish finalists
– Vysočina Gladiators, Czech champions
– Prague Lions, Czech finalists
Southern Conference
– Fehervar Enthroners, Hungarian finalists
– Banat Bulls, Serbian finalists
– Kragujevac Wild Boars, Serbian semifinalists
During the regular season, each team will play two games and only against the teams from their own conference, one home and one away.
The matchups will take place on the following dates:
Northern Conference matchups
April 23: Prague Lions – Tychy Falcons
TBD/TBA: Vysočina Gladiators – Prague Lions
May 21: Tychy Falcons – Vysočina Gladiators
Southern Conference matchups

April 30: Banat Bulls – Kragujevac Wild Boars
May 14: Fehervar Enthroners – Banat Bulls

May 28: Host to be decided during the season
Due to uncertainty with the pandemic and teams’ national league obligations, dates of individual games may be subject to rescheduling.
