Can Tom Brady make his final season a huge success?
Legendary quarterback Tom Brady has begun his final season in the NFL as he seeks one final Super Bowl ring to bow out of the sport in the greatest way imaginable. Brady announced his retirement in July, with his 2025 agreement with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers being just an option with a guarantee that he would remain in Florida until 2023.
The former New England Patriots man is arguably the greatest to ever grace the field in the NFL, and he still carries a huge influence on the pitch at the age of 45 now. He is probably the Buccaneers’ most important player which represents remarkable longevity after over 20 years in the NFL.

The Buccaneers are one of the favourites to be eventual Super Bowl winners at the end of this season. According to Betfair’s NFL odds, Tampa Bay is available at 6/1 odds, for those who bet online. Tom Brady will surely be one of the candidates to win the Most Valuable Player award offered at 9/1 as well as various other more niche markets, subject to many free tips.
Brady has won seven Super Bowls, which is already an NFL record, but with the 45-year-old’s mentality to want to win over and over again he will be desperate to extend the record. The former Patriots man has fought to prove the doubters wrong throughout his career, picked in the NFL draft until the sixth round in 2000 he was never expected to amount to anything special.
Brady had to be patient in his rookie season as he played a backup role to Drew Bledsoe but injuries meant he got a chance and the then-young quarterback never looked back. The quarterback role was his for many years after as he quickly become the heartbeat of the Patriots’ play, almost every touchdown pass would come from him.
He has been a vital addition at Tampa Bay, bringing the experience and know-how on exactly how to win. Brady knows how to dominate games and he also knows how to set up defensively and shut out the opposition which was seen in the opening game of this season against the Dallas Cowboys.
The iconic player has simply won so many huge games in a variety of different ways and the knowledge he provides for the Buccaneers to be the leader of the team is bettered by no one.

His most impressive performance of all which showed his mentality and desire to win when the odds were against him was in the Super Bowl against the Atlanta Falcons in 2017. The Patriots looked down and out at 28-3 down late in the third quarter, but Brady inspired his team to mount a fightback. He began to launch touchdown pass after touchdown pass as the lead slowly grew narrower with the Patriots eventually winning 34-28 and Brady won the MVP for that season which was largely a result of his Super Bowl heroics.
Brady simply never gives up when his team are struggling and he pushes that mentality onto the rest of his team forcing them to fight. A team with such a strong mind and incredible player would be impossible to rule out this season and Brady really could deliver one final time come next February.
