The Bydgoszcz Archers, Polish semifinalists in the COVID-19 shortened 2020 season, have signed linebacker Robbie Wallace from Wingate University (NCAA, Div. II).
The 6′, 235 pound 24 year old Wallace, a native of Covington, Georgia had an outstanding career with the Wingate University Bulldogs amassing 311 tackles including 30 tackles for loss and seven sacks. In 2019, his senior season, he earned All-Region honors for the second time in his career. He was a defensive team captain and first team All-SAC (South Atlantic Conference) linebacker. Wallace and his 2019 senior teammates set a WU record with 36 career victories. In 2018, Wallace earned second team All-SAC laurels for the second straight season. The 2017 season saw Wallace lead the SAC with 104 tackles (9.5 tackles per game). He recorded double-digits seven times, including a career-high 15 tackles against UNC Pembroke.
