The Baltic League made up of teams from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, kicks off in September with a slate of eight games including the championship final on October 20/21.
The aim of the league, according to organizers is to provide regular games and events under flexible conditions and schedule.
The four participating teams include Team Estonia, Vilnius Iron Wolves (Lithuania), the Kaunas Dukes (Lithuania) and the Riga Lions from Latvia.
The teams will play a round robin group stage with the top two teams meeting in the championship and the other two battling for the third and fourth spots.
