The 2021 Austrian Bowl is the highlight of another weekend full of football from throughout Europe.
In addition to Austria’s championship game, Finland’s Maple League will be in full swing featuring a full slate of games while the German Football League has returned after a three-week break.
Friday, July 30
In the opening game of the weekend in Finland’s Maple League, the 5-0 Kuopio Steelers will travel to Helsinki to face the 4-0 Helsinki Roosters on Friday, July 30 at 17:30 CET (5:30 pm, 11:30 am ET).
Saturday, July 31
The 1-4 Kiel Baltic Hurricanes will play host to the 1-4 Berlin Rebels in the 2nd meeting between these two teams in the German Football League this year. Berlin won the first game 28-14. Game time is July 31 at 15:00 CET (3 pm, 09:00 am ET).
The 3-2 Cologne Crocodiles will be hosting the 2-3 Braunschweig New Yorker Lions, Saturday, July 31 at 15:00 CET (3 pm, 09:00 am ET) as the German Football League swings back into full action.
In the Sport1 TV game of the week in the German Football League, the 3-2 Ravensburg Razorbacks will host the 2-1 Allgäu Comets, July 31 at 16:30 CET (4:30 pm, 10:30 am ET). This game is not available on AFI.tv.
The lone unbeaten team in the German Football League, the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns will take on the only team still without a win, the Frankfurt Universe, on Saturday, July 31 at 17:00 CET (5 pm, 11:00 am ET).
Sunday, August 1
The Helsinki Wolverines (1-4) and Wasa Royals (1-4) will be battling to stay in playoff contention in Finland’s Maple League on Sunday, August 1 at 15:30 CET (3:30 pm, 09:30 am ET).
The 4-1 Saarland Hurricanes will square off against the 2-3 Marburg Mercenaries as the GFL South rolls into the second half of the season. Kickoff is Sunday, August 1 at 17:00 CET (5 pm, 11:00 am ET).
