All-Star DB Justin Rogers – Remember him?

Justin Rogers was one of the Stars of the ELF during the 2021-2023 seasons. The former UTEP NCAA DI Miner came to Germany for his first pro-season joining the Hamburg Sea Devils for the ELF’s inaugural season.

The ELF’s first season

The 2021 season ended in heartbreak for Rogers and the Sea Devils faithful as they lost the Championship game by a narrowly missed field goal.

Even so Rogers looks back fondly on his first season in the ELF and his experience as a All-Star.

“My favorite ELF memory is probably the First ELF championship weekend into All Star Weekend. My family being able to come to Europe for the first time and then playing in a “All time classic” football game that came down to the very end. As well as the All Star weekend where I met and played with the nest of the European and American players, it was truly an unforgettable experience.
