The 2021 American football season in Europe on AFI tv continues to get busier with a total of eight games scheduled this weekend.
This week, Austrian Football League is back in action after a two week break to allow the Swarco Raiders and Dacia Vienna Vikings to play in the Central European Football League tournament. The Polish Football League heads into the midpoint of the season while Italy’s Division 1 will wind up the regular season this weekend with two playoff berths on the line. In addition, the Hungarian Football League continues while football in Serbia is in full swing.
Here is the full schedule for the weekend of May 22-23.
May 22
The Budapest Wolves (0-1) and Budapest Cowbells (0-1) will square off Saturday, may 22 at 12 noon CET (12:00, 06:00 am ET) in Hungarian Football League action.
Polish Football League leaders, the Bydgoszcz Archers (3-0) will face their toughest test of the season Saturday, May 22 at 1 pm CET (13:00, 07:00 am ET) when they play the 2-0 Bialystok Lowlanders in Bialystok.
The 2-3 Bologna Warriors face a tough task Saturday, May 22 in the final weekend of the regular season in Italy when thye take on the 5-0 Parma Panthers in a game they need to win to clinch a playoff spot. Kickoff is 6 pm CET (18:00, 12 noon ET)
May 23
The Lazio Ducks (2-3) will be fighting for a playoff spot Sunday, May 23 when they take on the Milano Seamen (4-1) in the final day of regular season play in Italy. Game time is 1:30 pm CET (13:30, 07:30 am ET)
The SsangYong Danube Dragons (2-2) will be looking to break .500 when they play the Mödling Rangers (0-3) Sunday, May 23 at 3 pm CET (15:00, 09:00 am ET) in Vienna as the Austrian Football League heads into the second half of the season.
In Serbia, the Kragujevac Wild Boars (1-1) will travel to Novi Sad to play the Novi Sad Wild Dogs (2-1) on Sunday, May 23 at 4 pm CET (16:00, 10:00 am ET). This game will not be shown in AFI tv but on American Football International.
