American Football International is pleased to announce it has signed a partnership agreement with FIDAF, (Federazione Italiana di American Football) the Italian Federation of American Football, organizers of the IFAF 2019 U19 European Championships, as official media partners of the event.
The IFAF 2019 U19 European Championships, which will be held in Bologna, Italy from July 29 to August 4, 2019. will feature teams from eight different countries – Sweden, Austria, France, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Spain and Norway – who will compete in a single round knockout playoff format.
Some of the finest young football players from all over Europe will be competing in the eight-day tournament.
This is the 14th edition of the U19 European Championships which have been held biannually since 1992. Austria has won the title four times, Germany and Finland three times each, France and Sweden twice while Russia has captured the title once.
AFI will be tasked with providing support for the FIDAF Press Office supplying original content in English including feature stories on the teams and players as well as game previews and recaps.
