AFI partners with Danish American Football Federation to livestream games

American Football International, AFI, and the Danish American Football Federation, DAFF, (Dansk Amerikansk Fodbold Forbund) have signed an agreement for the exclusive digital distribution of all Danish National League games on AFI.tv to a global audience outside of Denmark through to the end of 2020..

John McKeon, founder and CEO of AFI:

“We are fortunate to partner with the DAFF and excited to showcase Danish American football to our global audience. Due to the shortage of elite American football activity across the globe, the spotlight will be on Denmark’s National League this season.”

Through this agreement, which is for the 2020 season, AFI on its own distribution platform, will handle the distribution and marketing of live broadcasts outside of Denmark as well as the game commentary in either Danish or English.

Lars Carlsen, General Manager of DAFF:

“It is amazing that we finally can play American football and get the season going here in Denmark – it has been way too long a wait. We are very happy to have made a deal with AFI to stream our NL games live. It is a great opportunity for Danish American football to showcase our league to an international audience.”
