ELF: Fehérvár Enthroners bolster defense with Michael Badejo signing

As the 2025 European League of Football season fast approaches, the Fehérvár Enthroners have strengthened their defensive line with the signing of Michael Badejo.
The move comes as part of the team’s strategy to replace the recently departed Emmit Gooden. Badejo, a 6-2, 265 pound native of Arlington, Texas, brings collegiate experience from Southern Methodist University (SMU) and Texas Southern University.

Badejo most recently suited up for the Dresden Monarchs in the German Football League where he showcased his dominance. In seven games, he recorded 19 total tackles, 4 sacks, 5.5 tackles for loss, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 forced fumble, and even scored a defensive touchdown. This performance, combined with his NCAA pedigree at SMU and Texas Southern, underscores his adaptability and physicality—traits expected to elevate the Enthroners’ pass rush and run defense.
Strategic Impact
This acquisition highlights Fehérvár’s commitment to building a championship-caliber defense. Badejo’s ability to disrupt plays and generate turnovers fills the void left by Gooden, positioning the Enthroners as a stronger contender in the 2025 ELF season.
