In the men’s competition, the showpiece field streamed live on IFAF.TV opens with two 2-0 teams from Group B, New Zealand and Thailand, at 2.30pm, which could be a battle for top spot if both avoid defeat earlier in the day to Malaysia (1-1) and Korea (0-2) respectively.
In Group A, two teams standing at 2-0 having each scored more than 80 points in their opening games meet in their final game when Japan faces Australia. Japan must first navigate their way past 1-1 teams the Philippines and Kuwait, while Australia must overcome India (0-2) and the Philippines if the 1pm clash is to be for the top seed.
Six games from the showpiece field will be streamed live on IFAF.TV, beginning at 8am local time (2am CET / 8pm US ET) with Singapore seeking a first win in the men’s Group A against a Kuwait team that put 43 points past the Philippines having been humbled 50-7 by Australia.
Kickoff times for the remaining time slots have been brought forward to reduce the length of breaks between games and to allow for any weather delays, such as the lightning storm that interrupted Friday’s play.
