LIVESTREAM IFAF Flag EC: Championship Field – Aug. 18, 12:00 CET (12 noon, 6 am EDT)
The IFAF European Flag Football European Championships get underway on Friday, featuring 37 games played across six pristine grass pitches at the University of Limerick.
Runners up at The World Games Italy open against Ukraine in the men’s competition at 9.45am in Ireland. That game will be streamed live on IFAF.TV along with all games played on the main field from August 18-20. Seeking a seventh straight men’s title, Denmark take on Poland at 9.45am.
The action on Field 2, which begins with reigning women’s European champions Spain taking on Austria at 9.45am, will be streamed on the American Football Ireland YouTube channel, as will all games that follow on that field.

The anticipated debut of Ireland’s women’s team also comes at 9.45am as the hosts meet Germany, while the home team men get their campaign underway at 12.15pm against Italy.
The group stages continue on Saturday before all knockout, placement and medal games are played on Sunday, August 20, with the Bronze Medal Games scheduled for 3.15pm, then men’s Championship Game at 4.30pm and the contest for the women’s gold medal at 5.45pm.
Originally invited as guests to represent the African continent, Cameroon were unable to attend, but the championship still features a record number of 32 teams from 19 nations competing for the European crown in Ireland.
The championship is part of the biggest-ever international cycle of Flag football competition, with regional events played on three continents for the first time. The expanded international calendar also includes the Americas championship played in July in the United States, and the Asia/Oceania tournament in Malaysia in October, culminating in the 2024 IFAF Flag Football World Championships in Finland.
