According to NFL Draft Diamonds, the Miami Dolphins will work out German Football League star Tyler Davis tomorrow, December 17.
Here is a piece they did on Tyler Davis at mid season, before he was named league MVP.
Davis is a 5’11 game changer who played cornerback in college. He played college football at Missouri Valley and worked out with the St. Louis Rams. Davis had an opportunity to go to the Arena League or the CFL, but decided to take a different route. He went to Germany instead because they were the first to really offer him a deal.
He spent his two years in Germany with the Munich Cowboys and Kiel Baltic Hurricanes, Davis quickly made his name known playing both wide receiver, and cornerback. He helped the Baltic Hurricanes reach the German quarterfinals this past year, and was one of the league leaders in touchdowns with 26, while also recording six interceptions. He was also the Hurricane’s kick and punt returner.
